The whole school had a fantastic time completing Logo’s challenge, the sun was shining and everyone had lots of fun in the forest. Thank you to everyone who sponsored the pupils and who came along to support their efforts on the day. The money raised will go towards buying some new playground games equipment.

French/ Topic/Horse Riding
Room 4 have been busy learning some French vocabulary. We have now changed our “Good Morning” group and do the whole group in French.
Our new topic this term is Katie Morag. Katie Morag lives on the Isle Of Struay. We will be learning about islands and comparing our life to Katie Morag’s.
We are starting horse riding this term for 4 weeks which we are all very excited about.
We have been learning about dinosaurs in room 3! We created dinosaurs using paper and called them names , this one here is called spikeyosaurus !
Also they created fabulous fact files about dinosaurs.
We have an amazing wall display…
And we also made moving dinosaurs!
Well Done room 3 !
Poetry Week got off to a flying start with a visit from Amy’s gran who read a Scottish poem about a grumpy Tram Driver. The children enjoyed learning about the background to the poem and listening to the expressive way that the poem was delivered. We are practising Auld Lang Syne for the assembly on Monday.
Many thanks to Amy’s gran for taking the time to visit the P6-7 classes.
